This role is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based computers and peripheral devices, as well as business applications. The position also involves assisting with the design of desktop applications and wireless/network solutions, creating printer mappings for clinical systems, and escalating errors to manufacturers when necessary. The Desktop Support Engineer will manage user errors and requests through the IT/Facilities help desk ticketing system, document daily tasks, create user documentation, and track company assets. A key aspect of the role is understanding that IT's main function is to help others perform their jobs better, more efficiently, and more securely, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and confidentiality.
