This role is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based computers and various peripheral devices, as well as all business applications. The position involves architecting desktop application and wireless/network solutions, creating printer mappings for clinical systems, and escalating errors to hardware and software manufacturers when necessary. The Desktop Support Engineer II will manage user errors and requests through the IT/Facilities help desk ticketing system, document daily tasks, create user documentation, and track company assets accurately in the inventory database. A key aspect of the role is to understand and demonstrate that the main role of IT is to help others do their job better, more efficiently, and more securely, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and confidentiality.
