About The Position

WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Desktop Engineer in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office. This position is part of a job family (IT Infrastructure Consultant and Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant) where experience will be the determining factor. If you are currently in this Job Family, it will be a lateral move. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of relevant IT experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
2+ years of Microsoft Configuration Manager experience
PowerShell scripting experience

Responsibilities

Creates and maintains custom corporate images for a variety of Windows-based end user devices.
Optimizes OS configurations for peak performance under different operating conditions and environments – physical/virtual, on-site/mobile.
Manages hardware standards and works closely with vendors to develop and maintain sustainable device roadmaps for all areas of the company.
Provides operational 3rd level support and troubleshooting.
Develops working knowledge of company-wide systems, equipment, and applications and how they interact to support the business.
Work assignments may include 24x7 coverage.
May require travel to other locations.
