About The Position

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party administration (TPA) team providing claims services for Lloyd's of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, and organizations with high financial retentions. We have an existing opportunity to add a Property Claims Examiner / Desktop Adjuster to our growing team! Attendance to the office a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings is required. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the organization by providing knowledgeable, detailed and timely service. Utilizing a ‘desktop’ model, IPG examiners manage claims from start to finish. This hands-on approach ensures that the claim is handled properly and helps offset third-party adjusting costs.

Requirements

Demonstrated and proven track record of performance
Strong technical skills
Solid planner and organizer
Understand key issues plus provide solid solutions
Motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges that a rapidly growing organization faces
Ability to hold an independent adjusting license
1-2 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
Strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate professionally

Nice To Haves

Relevant post-secondary education
Completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation
Exposure to the Lloyd's market
Experience positively contributing to a high-performing team

Responsibilities

Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager
Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met
Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines
