About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desk Side Support Technician to provide onsite IT support for end-users and warehouse operations in our Hebron, Kentucky facility. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, provisioning user accounts, supporting warehouse technologies, managing IT assets, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting desktop environments in a fast-paced operational setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of desk-side or desktop support experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Experience supporting printers, scanners, and end-user computing devices.
  • Understanding of basic networking, LAN, and telephony support concepts.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to work the assigned shift of 3:30 AM - 12:30 PM On-site in Hebron, KY.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Experience supporting warehouse or distribution center technologies.
  • Familiarity with asset management and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Zebra printers, handheld scanners, and device deployment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site desk-side support for computer hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and scanner problems.
  • Create, configure, and support user accounts and system access requests.
  • Deploy new workstation builds and perform system imaging/re-imaging as needed.
  • Configure hardware and software for end-user devices prior to deployment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Zebra and HP printers, handheld scanners, and related warehouse equipment.
  • Support warehouse applications and hardware systems, including Pick-to-Light and Print-and-Apply systems (training provided).
  • Receive, track, organize, and manage IT asset inventory.
  • Deliver, install, relocate, and decommission IT equipment as required.
  • Perform IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, and Change) for desktops, laptops, and related devices.
  • Provide technical assistance during system installations, upgrades, and conversions for onsite and remote users.
  • Manage and prioritize IT service requests to meet established SLA requirements.
  • Escalate and coordinate unresolved issues with higher-level support teams.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for network, LAN, and telephony-related incidents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset records.
  • Work flexible hours as needed to support operations.
