About The Position

Leidos is seeking Desk Officers at all levels (1 to 20+ years of experience) with a current TS/SCI w/Polygraph to join their high-performing team on the newly awarded Beacon program in Northern Virginia. This long-term program supports national security missions by providing research and analysis to operational elements. The role involves utilizing dynamic research, report writing, and briefing skills, with work occurring at client sites in Northern Virginia. Leidos emphasizes a culture of innovation and expects team members to be proactive and driven.

Requirements

Possession of a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
Demonstrated ability to work on several tasks concurrently
Strong analytic writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment successfully
Demonstrated success in working in a high-paced, dynamic environment
Experience collaborating and coordinating with multiple offices and agencies
Experience supporting senior decision makers
Experience related to intelligence research and analysis work

Responsibilities

Manage a full range of operational and support activities
Serve as the primary point of contact for overseas offices
Provide operational guidance for ongoing cases
Propose recommendations for possible operational scenarios
Coordinate legal and policy issues affecting cases and overseas offices
Provide in-depth research on existing cases, and intelligence assessments using a variety of sources
Provide briefings to senior decision-makers
