Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, yarn, and stitch.
  • Strong taste level with keen eye for pattern and print.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and note taking skills.
  • Bachelor degree (B.A) from a college or university, major in Design
  • 3+ years of design experience, preferable in Men’s Sweaters and Cut & Sew Knitwear

Responsibilities

  • Supports Design Director for Men’s Cut & Sew Knitwear and Sweaters.
  • Conducts trend, fabric, and competitive research in-stores and online.
  • Helps organize design materials and prepares CAD work for presentations.
  • Assists in daily work flow such as color approvals and tech pack maintenance.
  • Organizes design & material information for pre-costing exercises.
  • May be trained to design jacquards in NEDGraphics or 3D renderings in Browzwear.
