The Tara Miller Melanoma Center (TMMC) seeks a Research Assistant (RA) to support the biospecimen and data cores and Dr. Alexander Huang lab. This role is 50/50 role, with 50% time spent supporting the TMMC’s data and biospecimen cores, and the other 50% time spent working on an existing research project in Dr. Huang’s lab using flow cytometry and transcriptional approaches to understand the cellular mechanisms of immunotherapies in humans. The RA works under general supervision, reporting directly to the Director of Administration, TMMC with accountability to the Data Manager. In Dr. Huang’s lab, the RA will report to Dr. Huang. Duties include participating in subject accrual and enrollment, performing clinical data entry, assisting with the coordination of biospecimen collections, and performing flow cytometry and other assays on patient specimens. It is expected that the RA to work 40 hours per week; 20 hours in TMMC and 20 hours in Dr. Huang’s lab.
