About The Position

We're seeking an early-career Designer I to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Team Lead Designer, this role is remote and serves as an individual contributor role focused on design support, iteration, and high-volume execution. The Designer I contributes to the production and maintenance of design assets across web, digital, and marketing channels while developing foundational skills in professional design workflows under close guidance from the Designer III and Team Lead Designer.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional design experience in graphic design, web design, UX/UI, or marketing design
  • Foundational understanding of design principles including typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition
  • Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite with willingness to develop fluency in additional tools
  • Exposure to web, digital, or marketing design through coursework, internships, or personal projects
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating basic design skills, aptitude, and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and developing self-QA habits
  • Receptiveness to coaching and structured feedback
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred — relevant certifications, internship experience, or design-adjacent field experience with supplemental portfolio evidence will also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned design tasks across web, digital, and marketing channels including web page edits, blog updates and publication support, image curation, asset preparation, link updates, site sweeps, and content adjustments
  • Assist with the creation of design assets for paid media, landing pages, email, print, and related initiatives using established design components, templates, and brand systems
  • Implement A/B tests and experiments as directed, supporting test setup, asset variation, and basic execution under guidance
  • Support ongoing maintenance tasks across websites and digital properties, including updates in staged and live environments
  • Execute work strictly within established brand guidelines and design systems, applying self-quality control practices to minimize errors prior to review
  • Flag questions, uncertainties, or potential issues early rather than making assumptions
  • Take feedback from Designer III contributors and Team Leads positively and implement changes efficiently
  • Participate in critique sessions and design reviews, actively learning new tools, systems, and workflows used by the team
  • Communicate task status, progress, and blockers clearly and professionally
  • Collaborate with peers and adjacent team members as needed to support delivery
  • Maintain organized files, assets, and documentation according to team standards
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
