Could you be the full-time Designated Supervisor for Locomotive Engineers (DSLE) in California we’re looking for? This role is to support Metrolink service at an assigned crew but will require flexibility covering other crew bases within the territory. As such, the successful candidate will be in the greater Los Angeles area. Relocation may be offered. You’ll work alongside collaborative, safety-focused, and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of locomotives and trains, while mentoring and guiding engineers and conductors to achieve compliance with all rules and regulations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Safety, Training, and Compliance Managers), oversee operations, and respond to service disruptions, among other responsibilities. You’ll specifically take care of overseeing locomotive engineer and conductor certification requirements, but also ensure adherence to all FRA regulations and SCRRA guidelines.
