Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Education, Health Care, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of ACGME institutional responsibilities such as the Annual Institutional Review (AIR), CLER activities, institutional self-studies, and residency program evaluation and data management collection.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with executive/physician leadership, program coordinators, hospital personnel, and institutions of higher learning to develop/maintain collegial relationships and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of experience in Graduate Medical Education.
  • Two or more years of hospital and leadership experience.
  • Experience with electronic residency management systems such as New Innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the educational quality, financial viability, administrative/academic structure, accreditation standards, and other regulatory requirements for graduate medical education (GME).
  • Functioning as a liaison between the ACGME and residents/fellows, teaching faculty, GME Office, internal departments/caregivers, and external teaching sites.
  • Developing, establishing, and overseeing all residency programs in the assigned market to ensure clinical excellence, fulfillment of accreditation standards, and operational/financial goals.
  • Developing clinical programs to support residency and medical education goals, potentially collaborating with CUSM to advance medical education.
  • Contributing to Prime's overall vision and strategy for medical education across all residency programs.
