Scout Motors is bringing back an iconic American vehicle brand, electrifying and digitizing it with American innovation. We are building a company that respects its past and future, its communities, and its customers. Scout vehicles will offer both an all-electric powertrain and a range extender powertrain with an estimated 500 miles of combined range. We empower our teams to innovate and are looking for visionary, collaborative, and passionate individuals to join us in shaping the future of transportation. This role is responsible for the design release engineering of the range extender engine air induction system, including air filtration, tubes, resonators, and sensors for the Scout Traveler SUV and Terra pickup. The position involves coordinating component designs, builds, and testing to meet project milestones, identifying and escalating risks, tracking system imperatives (cost, mass, investment), and managing hardware, software, and calibration from prototype to production. The engineer will also provide technical feedback to various teams and serve as the single point of contact for air induction systems with partners and suppliers.
