About The Position

Lead the design and integration of battery thermal protection components. Apply advanced engineering tools and methodologies to ensure robust and reliable product development. Drive program execution by managing milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Conduct technical design reviews and oversee drawing validation activities. Develop and review DFMEAs and DRBFMs for all components and design modifications. Validate designs through simulation, testing, and analysis to ensure performance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with suppliers to achieve design, quality, cost, and timing targets. Support cross-functional teams in system-level development and integration. Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and address quality concerns. Facilitate program management activities, including team coordination and milestone tracking. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering colleagues. This role operates under a Hybrid Work Policy, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the necessity to report to a local office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Product Development Intern, or related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Project management skills to meet customer deliverables and manage multiple projects.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Computer-based tools for data analysis and presentation creation.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Technical writing, including the development of detailed engineering evaluation reports.
  • Two (2) years of experience to Read, interpret, and generate engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Two (2) years of experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Analyzing engineering data and translating insights into presentations.
