The Role General Motors is seeking a driven Air Induction and Exhaust System Design Release Engineer to lead the development, integration, and production launch of advanced air induction and exhaust systems for next-generation vehicle programs. This role combines technical expertise, program leadership, and supplier management to deliver high-performance components and systems that meet rigorous safety, quality, and timing standards. You will guide your product development team through the full Vehicle Development Process, from defining requirements to designing and releasing a complex air induction and/or exhaust subsystem into production. Responsibilities include utilizing engineering tools and processes to develop robust, manufacturable components and systems, while driving milestone achievement through disciplined and proactive program management. You’ll coach and lead suppliers to ensure flawless execution of deliverables, and apply a high level of independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to solve complex challenges and continuously improve product quality and performance.
