About The Position

The Design Operations Manager – Brand Experience and Activation is responsible for leading the execution and amplification of brand campaigns across all consumer touch points, ensuring creative excellence, consistency and impact throughout the consumer journey. This role reports into the Category Design Manager. The role ensures that all assets are accurately adapted, flawlessly executed, and efficiently deployed across all omnichannel consumer touchpoints. This role requires strong creative expertise and in-depth knowledge of execution and production. One must have strong creative stewardship, creative excellence, and the ability to amplify creative ideas. The role requires a deep understanding of branding, design, storytelling, and consumer communications. It involves translating a master campaign into channel-specific executions and requires strong visual and content judgment. A deep understanding of the consumer journey, the ability to identify moments that matter, a customer experience mindset, and insights-driven decision-making are essential. The role also requires being digitally native and fully leveraging AI tools and automation to enable execution. Additionally, strong project and financial management skills are necessary, including annual budget forecasting and project budget management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in design operations, omnichannel asset delivery for CPG/FMCG environment.
  • Proven creative background with strong production and operational excellence across all touchpoints – Retail, Digital, Video, & Social.
  • BS in art or design degree required.
  • Deep understanding of G2M strategy across ALL Channels: full knowledge in Customer, and Shopper and their priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of creative workflow from concept to execution.
  • Ability to leverage AI and digital tools to accelerate and drive efficiency in execution.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Do not compromise quality. Drive great output of creative excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct creative execution agency and deliver and manage creative execution for project launch across category.
  • Be the steward of brand equity and ensure each project is meeting its aligned objectives and elevating the brand expression.
  • Build knowledge of consumer and retailer to lead creative idea and execution.
  • Prioritize workload based on business priority and urgency.
  • Final approval on creative quality and brand consistency across touchpoints.
  • Communicate and lead creative direction to agency partner. Review and optimize creative executions.
  • Identify execution efficiencies and define standards/templates and ensure agencies adopt them.
  • Maintain high standards of creative and quality control for brand and creative across touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Shopper Marketing, Brand Activation, Sales, and eCommerce teams to activate and orchestrate final assets.
  • Lead agency governance (creative + production), including briefing excellence, ways of working, capability fit, and performance scorecards.
  • Establish a test/learn and optimization cadence; translate performance signals into clear creative recommendations.
  • Partner with Content Factory and share the true creative for amplification content.
  • Lead through operational discipline, precision, and detail orientation.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams and external studio partners.
  • Champion a culture of executional excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the organization’s guardian of quality, ensuring assets meet brand standards and market requirements.
