Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
- Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
- Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Nice To Haves
- Interface/operate/program industrial PLCs - specifically Allen-Bradley (aka Rockwell Automation): Fluid with ladder logic, ControlLogix, HMI, FactoryTalk applications.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and controls: Servo drives, PID tuning, Robotics, Flow, Temperature, Pressure, Analytical Devices, Measurement, Vision.
- Assist in the design of automation control systems toward the applicable electrical standards, human factors, installation/cost, and maintenance best practices.
- Oversee field work including new control system installations, functional checkout, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine technical support and advice in the areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, and execution of field tasks.
- Plan and conduct routine technical or engineering-related assignments.
- Provide resolution to routine technical or engineering-related problems.
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods.
- Evaluate, select and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
