About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, offers a unique opportunity for aspiring engineers to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing integrated mechanical, electrical, and software systems. This program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027, and requires candidates to be available for the entire duration. Requirements

Majoring in an ABET accredited Engineering program required.
Proficient in mechanical systems with a strong commitment to continuous learning and application.
Strong reasoning and troubleshooting capabilities.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines through effective task prioritization.
Experience with MS Office and CAD software.
Legally authorized to work in the United States. Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a school/employment or any other visa, regardless of expiration date, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop integrated mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
Responsible for Creo-based modeling, drawing creation, and documentation release.
Build and evaluate prototype designs.
Conduct evaluations using lab testing, FEA, and engineering simulations.
Perform data collection and analysis, reporting findings to stakeholders.
Build cross-functional relationships to support team success and shared goals.
