About The Position

We are looking for a Design Engineer to support our engineered panel brands. This role will work out of our Ashland, OH location. Our engineered brands provide leading control, automation, and monitoring solutions for the municipal, water, wastewater, irrigation, industrial, and OEM markets. As a Design Engineer, you will serve as a key member of the engineering team. You will help ensure custom panel products meet customer requirements, ship as expected, and are designed with quality, efficiency, and profitability in mind. You will develop submittal bid packages for customer review, create panel schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, and manage bill of material data. As projects move through the submittal process, you will review customer requested changes, make necessary design updates, and prepare jobs for release to production. You will also look for opportunities to reduce custom panel product costs while maintaining quality, performance, and compliance with internal component and design standards. In addition, you will support production and QA testing by troubleshooting assigned panels built in assembly and providing technical expertise as needed. You will also help maintain engineering tools and shared support documentation on the network to ensure the team has access to accurate, up-to-date resources.
