Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on Creo design experience
At least 2 years with Windchill PLM/PDM systems
Proven expertise in mechanical primary and secondary structural design
1+ year in concept development and design review content preparation
4+ years creating finished 3D models
2+ years applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
2+ years working with complex mechanical/electrical systems

Nice To Haves

Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD)

Responsibilities

Design major components and systems, delivering technically advanced prototypes and products
Develop and enhance products to streamline manufacturing operations
Prepare preliminary layouts, sketches, and documentation to support design proposals
Investigate design factors, including manufacturability, material availability, strength-weight efficiency, and cost considerations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment throughout the design process
Create detailed layouts and assembly drawings for devices, mechanisms, and structures
Review and verify completed designs for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to standards and specifications
Identify and recommend improvements to correct design errors or deficiencies
