About The Position

Join our high-impact Air Dominance production team in Grand Prairie, TX as a Design Engineer specializing in Mechanical Review Board (MRB) activities. In this urgent, priority-to-fill position, you will play a critical role in supporting missile system component production, ensuring quality and resolving production issues to maintain our mission-critical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5), including tolerance analysis
• At least 2 years’ proficiency with Creo design software
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation (2+ years)
• Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and related technical documentation
• Strong leadership in investigative efforts with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Advanced experience in missile or aerospace manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-stakes production scenarios

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key MRB member, evaluating non-conforming hardware for performance impacts
• Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive resolution of production issues
• Lead and coordinate investigative efforts, reporting status to interdisciplinary teams and leadership
• Participate in weekly status meetings, providing updates and recommendations
• Review engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications to support production integrity
