About The Position

Snap Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Product Design team, a small, influential group that shapes the future of the core Snapchat application. The role focuses on conceiving, prototyping, and iterating on new products, especially through functional iOS prototypes. It also involves developing creative tools and internal systems, occasionally prototyping for web, AR, and AI, and partnering with engineering teams to move ideas through design and into products used by hundreds of millions of people. The Design Engineer works with product designers and user researchers to test concepts and refine them based on feedback, and presents ideas directly to the CEO and company leadership. Snap follows a “default together” approach, with team members expected to work in an office four or more days per week. The position offers paid parental leave, comprehensive medical coverage, emotional and mental health support programs, and compensation packages that include eligibility for RSUs.
