Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Structural and Stress Analysis preferred
- ANSYS experience preferred
- PLM Software(Team Center) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, research, analysis, engineering documentation and process improvement for proposals, new product development and production support.
- Activity will be focused on metallic designs
- Perform thermal and structural analyses of metallic or composite designs utilizing ANSYS or other analysis methods, creating basic drawings, conducting or oversee testing, and assisting in the development and analysis of projects from concept to detail designs
- Perform engineering design, analysis, and testing based on customer, industry, standard processes, and internal specifications.
- Become familiar with all Design Engineering standards and procedures, development programs and platforms.
- Support programs with introduction of composite specific system analysis with developed or to be developed in-house software, ANSYS/Abaqus and potentially other publicly available software.
