About The Position

The Design Development Engineer performs VLSI system development by defining functionality, architecture, layout, and implementation for a client. The role focuses on RF and power amplifier design and development, including RF PA architecture and circuit design, matching networks, simulation, performance optimization, and design documentation.

Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of hands-on industry experience focused specifically on RF/power amplifier design and development.
• Experience in RF PA architecture and circuit design, including Doherty PA design.
• Experience in RF matching network design, load-pull analysis, and RF performance optimization.
• Experience in PA simulation and analysis covering gain, output power, efficiency, linearity, stability, and ruggedness.
• Understanding of DPD interaction and PA/DPD performance optimization.
• Understanding of PA schematic design, component selection, design review, and design documentation.
• Mandatory skill: VLSI Physical Verification.
• Listed experience: 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop VLSI systems by defining functionality, architecture, layout, and implementation for a client.
• Design RF power amplifier architectures and circuits, including Doherty power amplifiers.
• Design RF matching networks and perform load-pull analysis and RF performance optimization.
• Simulate and analyze power amplifiers for gain, output power, efficiency, linearity, stability, and ruggedness.
• Optimize PA and DPD performance, considering their interaction.
• Create PA schematics, select components, participate in design reviews, and prepare design documentation.
