About The Position

The Staff Software Engineer will support the onboarding, transformation, integration, and provisioning of large-scale patient-level healthcare datasets into core data assets powering the IQVIA Scion Platform. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, cloud technologies, and healthcare domain expertise to deliver scalable, high-quality data products for IQVIA’s commercial and analytical offerings. The engineer will work with internal stakeholders and external data suppliers to understand healthcare data assets, business requirements, data models, and source systems. They will use that knowledge to design, develop, and optimize solutions that transform raw healthcare data into production-ready products for IQVIA clients and internal analytical teams. The position also offers an opportunity to help transform data and create applications on a next-generation patient platform. The role includes technical leadership and coordination with cross-functional and offshore teams, including leading development in Scrum and helping teams complete sprint and PI objectives. Snowflake on Azure is the primary enterprise data platform, with support for legacy Hadoop environments. The position also involves collaboration with engineering, architecture, data management, and DevOps teams, and participation in Agile ceremonies and technical reviews.
