About The Position

myDermRecruiter is seeking an experienced, New Jersey-licensed Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time role at an established dermatology practice in Northern New Jersey. The provider will deliver general medical dermatology care in a busy outpatient setting, evaluating and treating medical skin conditions. Cosmetic treatments are not part of the role.

The position is approximately 12 hours per week across two to three afternoon or evening shifts. Shifts are anticipated to be about four hours, generally from 3–7 PM or 4–8 PM, subject to scheduling confirmation. Care is provided at two practice offices approximately 20 minutes apart, and travel between locations is required. The practice serves a diverse patient population, including a substantial number of patients covered by New Jersey Medicaid. The clinical team includes an established physician and physician assistant. Compensation is described as a clearly defined hourly rate; the listed compensation is estimated and may vary based on days worked, experience, production, and bonuses.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Approximately 1–3 years of dermatology experience or greater.
• Clinical experience in general medical dermatology.
• Strong diagnostic, patient assessment, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at two nearby Northern New Jersey locations.

Nice To Haves

• Existing credentialing with New Jersey Medicaid plans is highly desirable but not required.
