Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to dermatology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and detailed medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection accurately.
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling and coordinate effective communication within the office.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and recommended skincare practices.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
