Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording comprehensive medical histories.
- Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are ready.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, medication administration, and skincare practices.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with required medical supplies.
