We are looking for a dedicated Triage Dermatology Assistant to be the heartbeat of our patient communications and clinical support team.

Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a current Nebraska LPN license.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to obtain CPR/BLS (within 60 days).
Ability to obtain Medication Aide (within 90 days).
Exceptional dependability and a genuine passion for patient care.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in triage and dermatology is a plus.
A "self-starter" attitude and a team-player mentality are essential.
Ability to obtain Certified Dermatology Technician (CDT) certification (after 90 days).

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls and faxes, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring the communication cycle is completed with empathy and accuracy.
Act as an educator, guiding patients through their treatment plans and resolving concerns with a "patient-first" mindset.
Assist providers by documenting patient histories, performing procedures, and providing vital patient education in both general dermatology and our aesthetic center.
Accompany providers during exams to capture real-time clinical notes, ensuring the highest standard of record-keeping.
