About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider with at least one year of experience to join its growing team. The provider will deliver high-quality dermatology care and help create an excellent patient experience. The role provides care to patients of all ages, including general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetic training is available for providers who are interested.

The position is based in West Oneonta, New York. Compensation is listed at $150,000–$160,000+, with eligibility for signing and relocation bonuses. Schweiger describes a positive work environment and offers benefits that vary by full-time or part-time status.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of professional dermatology experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology care to patients of all ages.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of patient service and care.
• Examine and diagnose patients, and inform them about dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
