The Wasatch County Deputy Sheriff Merit Commission is recruiting for Deputy Sheriff and Corrections Officer positions. This recruitment aims to establish a hiring roster for regular openings. The selection process includes a physical training exam (pass/fail based on POST Academy standards), a written test, a panel interview, and a Sheriff's Interview. A minimum score of 70% is required for each test. Eligible applicants are ranked by their overall score, with the top three considered for each opening. Additional credit may be awarded for military service and post-secondary education.
