Deputy Project Manager

NVI•Berea, OH

About The Position

The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) serves as the immediate backup to the Project Manager when the PM is absent. The DPM may also serve as Software Manager; if assigned both roles, the individual leads development responsibilities. This combined role is permitted but not required. The DPM supports project delivery through coordination of requirements, milestones, schedules, stakeholders, dependencies, issues, risks, and project status. The DPM supports weekly project meetings and associated agendas, status reports, minutes, plans, and review cycles required of the contractor. The role coordinates implementation readiness across design, development, quality assurance, security, acceptance testing, training, go-live, and final acceptance, assuming PM leadership when necessary. Attendance at Commission-coordinated in-person project workshops alongside the PM, Software Manager, and Quality Manager is mandatory.
