You’ll work alongside supportive and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of Automated People Mover (APM) and other turnkey transportation projects across North America. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and operations, to optimize processes, track progress, and support the Project Engineering Managers (PrEMs) in their technical and strategic responsibilities. You’ll also contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the adoption of digital tools to enhance group performance. You’ll specifically take care of assisting PrEMs with project engineering tasks, such as managing work packages and tracking deliverables, but also contribute to ongoing requirements management and process standardization efforts. We’ll look to you for:

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial, or equivalent) or Project/Systems Engineering with familiarity in technical environments
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience or understanding of project engineering management processes
  • Knowledge of requirements management and process standardization
  • Familiarity with engineering tools and data structure organization
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to propose improvements
  • Fluency in English (French language skills preferred for VIE program requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting PrEMs with Work Package (WP) management, updates, and tracking
  • Supporting the monitoring of as-bid/as-sold vs. actuals and EAC by standardizing reporting methods
  • Preparing, updating, and organizing engineering deliverables and documentation structures
  • Utilizing digital tools, including AI, to improve group performance
  • Analyzing and harmonizing processes across projects, such as LOMs, engineering drawing hierarchies, and CDRLs
  • Contributing to requirements management improvement initiatives
  • Supporting tool transitions and acting as a liaison between PrEMs and tool owners
  • Preparing cross-project engineering dashboards and summaries
  • Consolidating KPI tracking, engineering progress, and risk/opportunity follow-up
