About The Position

The Deputy Program Manager will oversee operations at the TX X-Bow facility, focusing on site development, design, and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Solid Rocket Motor operations, financial analysis using Earned Value Lite techniques, and project management principles. The Deputy PM will be responsible for managing schedules, risks, and opportunities, communicating progress to stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams. The position involves working in potentially hazardous manufacturing environments and requires adherence to U.S. Government export regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience with Solid Rocket Motor operations and the sequencing of build from initial propellant mixing and inert fabrication to rocket motor integration and delivery.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems via implementation of actions as it relates to site development design and construction projects.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement Earned Value Lite financial data analysis techniques in support of design and construction projects.
  • Ability to support other business management needs such as tracking funding, tracking budgets, tracking financial health of the project and any financial reporting deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of green field site development and ability to produce Statements of Work, review proposals and execute such efforts with General Contractors.
  • Ability to develop and manage design and construction schedules, risks and opportunities across the various site development efforts.
  • Ability to communicate project progress, challenges and outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate with a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and accountability across all project areas.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in explosive or hazardous manufacturing environments.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for required authorizations).

Responsibilities
