About The Position

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Program Manager in the planning, execution, and tracking of complex Sensor Beam programs. These programs involve advanced sensor technologies, multi-discipline engineering, rapid prototyping, and integrated system development. The role is crucial for managing engineering performance, quality, schedule, and technical risks across various technology domains including Radar, EO/IR, Communications, Platform systems, Missiles, Air Defense Artillery (ADA), and Technical Library efforts supporting electronic warfare community databases. The Deputy Program Manager will also assist in overseeing multiple concurrent task orders executed within a fiscal year, coordinating technical teams, monitoring program performance, and preparing programmatic reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business administration, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6+ years in program management or 4+ years in supervisor/technical lead roles with proposal and customer facing experience OR Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business administration, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
An active Secret clearance is required
Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
Proven team player with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional customer communication skills with a strong customer advocacy mindset
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy; self-motivated with strong analytical curiosity and determination to solve problems

Utilize advanced understanding of the EWIR database, including emitter characterization frameworks, data validation requirements, output specifications, and mission system dependencies
Support successful program execution through familiarity with contract requirements, CDRL management, risk registers, and technical baseline control for database system development
Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and data engineers to ensure database enhancements meet stakeholder needs, cybersecurity requirements, and system performance thresholds
Communicate effectively with leadership and customers through accurate program briefs, milestone updates, and data driven analysis
Demonstrate accountability and operate with minimal supervision, ensuring work meets technical and administrative standards
Represent the organization confidently as a primary point of contact for current and prospective customers

Responsibilities

Support the Program Manager by performing delegated duties, guiding Managers and Supervisors, and ensuring all Sensor Beam contract delivery requirements are achieved.
Lead smaller programs and assist in the management of multiple active task orders, including oversight of schedules, risks, action items, and performance against cost, schedule, and staffing objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional department Managers, Supervisors, engineering teams, and support staff to maintain coordinated, effective program execution.
Develop, maintain, and manage program schedules, budgets, and cost tracking using Staffer and Tempus to ensure accurate and compliant program reporting.
Prepare program status reports, technical documents, and other required artifacts to support internal leadership, external customers, and contractual documentation requirements.
Lead internal and external customer reviews and participate in meetings to present program status, risks, and technical updates.
Support proposal planning and execution, ensuring alignment with established program processes, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
Apply professional program management capabilities, including organizational management, risk awareness, and business intelligence, to ensure efficient, compliant, and mission-focused program operations.
