Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience managing or supporting complex federal cybersecurity, information security, or IT program operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, cybersecurity reporting, vulnerability management, incident response, and security governance.
  • Experience working with Government CORs, technical stakeholders, and program leadership.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple project workstreams and maintain disciplined program visibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, CISA, Security+, or similar cybersecurity/program management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day program execution across all cybersecurity task areas.
  • Assist with management controls, schedule tracking, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, and resource coordination.
  • Support recurring program status meetings, Quarterly Program Reviews, stakeholder briefings, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate across technical, governance, and operational teams including ISSOs, system owners, security engineers, vulnerability analysts, incident responders, and program leadership.
  • Support development and maintenance of the Task Order Management Plan, Program Management Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, risk register, meeting minutes, action item logs, lessons learned, SOPs, dashboards, and recurring status reports.
  • Monitor deliverable quality, timeliness, completeness, and alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Help identify performance variances, emerging risks, and recommended mitigation strategies.
