About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support a Federal Government client. This position is contingent upon contract award. The DPM will report to and support the Program Manager (PM), assuming all program management responsibilities in the PM's absence. The DPM's primary focus is on creating and managing processes that allow Mission Leads and contract personnel to concentrate on daily operations. A significant portion of the DPM's time (80%) is expected to be spent collocated with the CME Workforce. The government customer requires the DPM to handle all administrative responsibilities, thereby relieving Mission Leads of these duties. The DPM must maintain awareness of support requirements and proactively remove distractions and impediments by leveraging available resources. This role is only required if exercised as part of a surge.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the analytical process that acts on collection to produce information for intelligence databases and products.
  • Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Certification as a Program Management Professional (or equivalent).
  • MA or MS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 6 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.
  • Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools with general understanding of GEOINT operations.
  • Knowledge of and experience in planning and executing technical studies and reports for computer systems and computer networks.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Irregular Warfare concepts and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assume all program management responsibilities and tasks in the absence of the PM.
  • Create and manage processes that enable Mission Leads and other contract personnel to focus on daily operations.
  • Assume all administrative responsibilities and alleviate such responsibilities from the Mission Leads.
  • Maintain awareness of support requirements and leverage all available resources to remove distractions and impediments.
  • Human Resource Management and contract fill-rate.
  • Hiring and termination processes.
  • Management of nonoperational disciplinary issues.
  • Onboarding and in-processing.
  • Personnel Status (PERSTAT) reports.
  • Schedule and task performance oversight.
  • Timekeeping and timecard approval.
  • Administrative support to Mission Leads and contract workforce.
  • Maintain awareness of support requirements and leverage all available resources to remove distractions and impediments.
