About The Position

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in our management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store in the Store Manager's absence. This role will be predominantly based in the Bikes & Cycling department, so an understanding of bikes or a passion for cycling, coupled with leadership experience, would be advantageous. We are looking for a commercially minded and sales-focused manager who can lead from the front, drive sales performance, and make a measurable impact on key KPIs within the Bike Hut. You'll be passionate about delivering results, developing your team, and creating an outstanding customer experience that helps grow the department's success. Requirements

A year of managerial experience in a retail sales environment.
Proven track record in coaching and managing colleagues.
Strong understanding of compliance and operational standards.
Ability to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer metrics.
Commercial acumen and awareness of industry trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn our systems.
