About The Position

The Deputy Program Manager supports and provides continuity for contract execution, Government coordination, regional-campus oversight, scheduling, reporting, quality control, and personnel-access administration across CDET programs.

Requirements

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • A Bachelor's degree and eight (8) additional years' experience, may be substituted if the professional lacks a Master's degree.
  • Master's degree is required.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience managing and supervising projects with multiple personnel, including remote personnel, scheduling, and reporting.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Professional Military Education programs delivered to students.
  • Minimum Tier 1 background investigation and Government-access eligibility are required; an active Secret clearance is required before supporting classified events or tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Former Marine with 10+ years' experience desired.
  • A Master's degree from an accredited school in the area of Project Management, Information Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Management is preferred.
  • At least seven (7) years of project management and supervision experience, including remote-personnel management, scheduling, and reporting, is preferred.
  • Experience managing Professional Military Education programs delivered to students worldwide is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of CDET programs.
  • Coordinate scheduling of seminars with the RDs and CDET staff.
  • Review all invoices for accuracy and on-time submittal.
  • Maintain weekly contact with the COR regarding overall contract execution and Government satisfaction.
  • Conduct a minimum of one Quality Control (QC) visit to each regional site annually.
  • Provide a Monthly Status Report.
  • Participate in the CDET mid-year review held at a regional location.
  • Conduct monthly Program Management status review with the COR and report on the overall program status and the status of each region.
  • Manage and track requests for Common Access Card (CAC) cards for Contractor personnel.
  • Attend the annual CDET Faculty workshop at Quantico VA, which is normally for five consecutive days in the summer months.
