About The Position

Requirements

• Able to lead teams to drive readership and engagement.
• Skilled editor who is proactive in devising strategies that lead to increased reader engagement.
• Manager with experience with transformative change in operations.
• Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Oversees newsroom operations for the Cape Breton Post and Nova Scotia weekly publications.
• Works with local journalists to drive readership.
• Supports production and assigning for digital and print publications.
