About The Position

The Deputy Director of Workforce Development is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, compliance, and performance of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs and related workforce initiatives within the State of Ohio’s Local Workforce Area 9 (Lucas County). This position provides leadership, oversight, and management of workforce programs including, but not limited to, CCMEP, OhioMeansJobs One-Stop center operations, career services, business services, RESEA, and support to the local Workforce Development Board. The Deputy Director ensures alignment with federal and state regulations and program compliance, manages provider performance, supports strategic workforce initiatives, and serves as a key liaison among stakeholders, service providers, and public partners.
