This position oversees the Division’s budget and operations, including spend plans, legislative budget requests, and purchasing and contract management duties. The role drives enterprise procurement policy through rulemaking, guidance, and partnership with legislative stakeholders. It supports vendor compliance with applicable rule and statute, leads the development and deployment of instructional materials and communications related to procurement and contract management, and acts as the executive sponsor to two enterprise information technology solutions: MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) and the State Travel Management System (STMS). The position also supports and ensures alignment of the Division’s strategic goals with long range program plans and acts as a leader to colleagues within the Division of State Purchasing and the Department of Management Services.
