The Health Care Section (HCS) works to ensure Pennsylvanians can access needed health services and to protect the public from misleading, deceptive, and unfair business practices in the provision of health services. Its work includes mediating consumer complaints, investigating deceptive business practices, and bringing litigation where necessary. It may involve collaboration with other areas of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, including the Bureau of Consumer Protection, the Charitable Trusts & Organizations Section, and the Antitrust Section. The employee performs progressively more complex professional legal work under the supervision of the HCS Chief Deputy Attorney General. The position is based in Harrisburg and requires reporting to the headquartered location at least two days per week. Telework may be available for the remainder of the week, if desired and based on business need. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a full-time, non-civil-service, non-union position.
