About The Position

HX5 is seeking a Depot Maintenance Expert to support the C-17 NATO Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. This role involves applying in-depth knowledge of aircraft/weapon system depot maintenance work tasks and repair processes, interfacing with depot personnel, advising on acquisition strategies, coordinating logistics, and participating in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches.

Requirements

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
Must be able to travel, including air travel.
Bachelor’s Degree and ten (10) years of related experience.
Or High School degree and fifteen (15) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Apply in-depth knowledge of aircraft/weapon system depot maintenance work tasks and repair processes to research timing of work cards and confirm the sufficiency of planned depot maintenance tasks.
Interface with depot personnel and use depot maintenance information systems to closely monitor progress, resolve issues, and report detailed progress and status to the Government.
Advise the Government on acquisition strategies for line replacement units and components using various methods including Parts and Repair Ordering System (PROS).
Coordinate all logistics elements, including but not limited to spares, SE, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for FMS programs are identified and tailored to the FMS customer’s needs.
Perform as a key participant in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further Government and FMS customer acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
