About The Position

This position provides technical support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the NAVSUP Performance Based Logistics-Organic (PBL-O) program within the C4ISR Restoration Depot. The role involves oversight, identification, financing, receipt, execution, and closeout of specific PBL-O workloads, as well as providing backup for other NAVSUP workloads. The Logistician will review and report trends in contractor labor hours, labor dollars, and material dollar uploads to the Shop Workload Management System (SWMS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Responsibilities include ensuring Shop Orders are placed and tracking workloads through various departments, providing backup shipping support, querying and updating the SWMS database, and ensuring PBL-O Casualty Reports (CASREPs) are properly identified and prioritized. The role also involves developing and reviewing monthly PBL-O metrics and reports, preparing tasking reports, utilizing NAVSUP One Touch Support (OTS) and Asset Visibility databases, consulting with various stakeholders, and interfacing with shipping vendors. Additionally, the Logistician will prepare technical and status reports for on-time delivery to Government customers, support data collection and reporting, respond to ad hoc data queries, develop statistical data, and assist managers with financial data tracking and reporting. Special projects may also be assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years recent C4ISR or other relevant experience.
• Extensive working experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including internet research skills.
• Able to work professionally with all personalities, in all environments, regardless of position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.
• Must have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.
• Associate degree or higher in logistics management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the NAVSUP Performance Based Logistics-Organic (PBL-O) program within the C4ISR Restoration Depot.

• Provides backup to the NAVSUP Traditional and other PBL-O workloads.
• Reviews and reports trends and inconsistencies in contractor labor hours, labor dollars, and material dollar uploads to the Shop Workload Management System (SWMS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Ensures Shop Orders are placed and follows the workloads through the Shops, Quality Control, and Packing/Shipping.
• Provides backup shipping support.
• Queries and updates the SWMS database as necessary.
• Ensures PBL-O Casualty Reports (CASREPs) are properly identified and prioritized.
• Develops and reviews monthly PBL-O metrics and reports, as required.
• Prepares tasking reports as funding is available.
• Uses NAVSUP One Touch Support (OTS) and Asset Visibility databases.
• Consults with the Depot Business Financial Managers (BFMs), IPT Leads, contractor staff, and Vendors as required.
• Interfaces with shipping vendors to obtain quotes and ensure schedules are met.
• Prepares technical and status reports for on-time delivery to Government customers.
• Supports data collection and reporting activities.
• Responds to ad hoc data queries.
• Develops statistical data for all ongoing projects.
• Supports assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested.
• Tracks and records financials between multiple activities.
• Performs special projects as required.
