About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Depot Execution Lead to support one or more AN/TPY‑2 programs. In this role, you will provide innovative and reliable solutions to evolving depot requirements for both domestic customers and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners. You will report to the Upper Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) Deployment, Fielding, and Sustainment (DFS) IPT Lead and serve as the primary leader for all depot activities associated with the AN/TPY‑2 system. This position will be onsite in Woburn, MA. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus areas include but not limited to reliability, sustainment, logistics engineering, field/operations support, depot, safety, human systems engineering, training, technical manuals, and product support.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Program or Project Management, Sustainment, System Fielding, Depot, Logistics, and/or Engineering.
  • Experience in depot operations, field returns, and/and repair processes for military or industrial systems,
  • Experience with budget and/or financial management, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar tools.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Raytheon’s Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), RTX Life Cycle Program Management (RLPM), or similar business processes.
  • Demonstrated accountability, consistency, and flexibility when managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver on contractual commitments while supporting follow‑on business opportunities.
  • Experience in strategic development or contract capture within the Defense industry
  • Experience supporting U.S. military radar sustainment programs.
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior leadership—customers, Raytheon leadership, teammates, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage OCONUS and CONUS depot capabilities for AN/TPY‑2 systems.
  • Partner with depot technical SMEs to define and execute overarching depot strategy.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional engineering and logistics disciplines to support depot stand‑up and sustainment.
  • Track spares, bench stock, and all material deliverables supporting depot operations.
  • Provide clear, organized weekly depot status updates to the DFS IPT, Program Office, customer, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate SME support for technical troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Manage and report schedule and cost performance metrics in alignment with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements.
  • Support internal and external program reviews, financial reviews, and customer engagements.
  • Develop, release, and deliver Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items related to depot operations.
  • Travel domestically or internationally as needed, up to 10%.
