About The Position

Provide administrative support to the Deposit Operations team with an emphasis on all administrative needs of the department including mail processing, quality control review, and government services. Support the requests of team members and members as needed and provide back up to Deposit Operations Specialists during periods of high volume and/or limited availability of resources.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months customer service and/or administrative experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Operations and or banking experience, a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Deposit Operations team with an emphasis on all administrative needs of the department: Process all daily letters to ensure they are sent to members in a timely manner.
  • Provide back-up support to the Portfolio Support Specialist with the processing of daily outgoing mail.
  • Handle all administrative aspects of government services to include subpoenas, levies, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to other functions of Deposit Operations as needed.
  • During high volume or periods where resource availability is limited, assist with routine functions such as account maintenance, return items, mobile and ATM deposit review, and charge offs.
  • Perform tasks and projects as assigned by management.
  • Ensure confidentiality within all areas of responsibility.
  • Positively promote the company, its services and products in various capacities as may be required including: meetings, conferences, community events, fund raising, public relations or other events as they may occur.
  • Adherence with company policies that could be amended from time to time.
  • Follow all procedures pertaining to the company policies of BSA, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC. Attend trainings when available and to keep abreast of all information regarding changes and updates. Report to Management any acts of disregard to these policies.
  • Successfully complete all company required and job specific training.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
