About The Position

Responsible for a variety of duties related to monitoring, processing, and maintaining deposit operations functions. Provides a high level of service in responding to customer and employee inquiries through various communication channels. Supports operational efficiency, ensures accuracy of transactions, and promotes bank products and services through appropriate referrals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data processing, accounting, or financial services preferred.
  • Experience with banking software systems or similar technology is beneficial.
  • Maintains the highest ethical standards in all activities.
  • Handles sensitive customer and company information with discretion and in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of duties related to deposit accounts, including processing NSF items, stop payments, account maintenance, and recordkeeping functions. Ensures accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Processes wire transfers, ACH files, returned items, cash letter adjustments, levies, and garnishments. Reconciles general ledger and correspondent bank accounts; researches discrepancies and makes correcting entries as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries, research requests, and operational issues from both customers and employees. Maintains strong internal communication to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Supports debit card maintenance, dispute processing, remote deposit verification, and E-Corp system processing. Assists with maintaining overnight funds position and reserve requirements.
  • Ensures all transactions follow bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Completes verifications and maintains documentation to support audit and compliance needs.
