Deployment Technician
About The Position
Our Metropolitan Commission client is hiring a hands-on, self-motivated DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN to join the team in short-term project to deploy hardware. The deadline for the project is December 31, 2026 with hopes of being done before Christmas 2026. This role will support end-users by deploying new hardware, assisting with Windows 11 migrations, and helping execute IT projects across metro-area locations. The DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN will work independently, solving problems on the fly, and getting devices into the hands of users with minimal disruption. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career, looking to gain enterprise-level experience.

Responsibilities
- Image and deploy laptops and desktops using SCCM.
- Install and configure software, including reinstallation of licensed applications on replacement devices.
- Support Windows migration using a combination of SCCM and Autopatch.
- Troubleshoot login issues, driver problems, and peripheral malfunctions using tools like Dell Command Update, Windows Update, and manual driver installs.
- Assist customers in navigating the basics of Windows 11, SharePoint, Teams, and how to use our self-service tools in ServiceNow.
- Updating asset records in ServiceNow and help retire old equipment from our systems.
- Follow documented processes and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Support Operational and Capital project rollouts and refresh efforts across all locations.
- Install large format displays, headless computer systems, or automation systems.
- Partner with the IT team, Airside, Landside, and Public Safety departments to deploy standard hardware configurations for Operating or Capital efforts.
- Other duties as required by the Supervisor, Project Leader, or Senior Client Services Analyst.
