About The Position

This role will involve profiling and shipping out hardware. This person will be responsible for only Windows OS and will be utilizing the general Office Suite and installing a myriad of other applications. This role is focused on data entry and operational support within an IT warehouse and back-office environment. The technician will input, update, and maintain data across tools such as Excel, SmartSheet, and ServiceNow, supporting hardware lifecycle tracking, asset reporting, and inventory documentation. They will be part of a larger logistics and IT support team, assisting with back-end processes. Accuracy, consistency, and the ability to follow set procedures are key to success. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or allocations. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret situations. Ability to solve problems involving several options. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills. Exceptional Customer Skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Profiling and shipping out hardware.
  • Responsible for Windows OS, Office Suite, and installing other applications.

  • Support hardware lifecycle tracking, asset reporting, and inventory documentation.
  • Assist with back-end processes within a logistics and IT support team.

  • Oversees the daily operations for a specified location including software, hardware, tape backups, phone administration, and the local area network.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the local area network.
  • Installs and upgrades Microsoft Windows operating systems including standard business applications and associated peripherals.
  • Maintains a daily backup of all network files.
  • Performs service administration tasks for software and hardware products to ensure manufacturer warranty.
  • Assists in the purchasing of new computer equipment and peripherals for a specified location.
  • Performs software and hardware inventory.
  • Basic Administration of Phone and Voicemail systems for site.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
