About The Position

This position serves as the MI-TEaCH Analyst and provides consultation and technical assistance for the Michigan Office of Transformation, Engagement, and Community Health (MI-TEaCH) section, under the Office of Culture, Community, Education and Leadership (CCEL). Position evaluates MDHHS programs and services, and provides consultation to administrations and program areas regarding initiatives. Position also researches, develops and provides training to internal and external entities on health equity for all, root cause analysis, and cultural and linguistic evidence-based training.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9 - No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10 - One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11 - Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Alternate Education and Experience Departmental Analyst 9 - 12 - Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • The use of artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind is prohibited in all areas of the selection process; including, but not limited to, responses to application questions, and responses to interview questions or exercises.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and a criminal records check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in public health, sociology, social work, social science, psychology, community health, training and education, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of two years’ work experience developing and facilitating health equity for all, root cause analysis, and cultural and linguistic appropriate services training.
